THE NIGERIA WE HOPE FOR

FeaturedTHE NIGERIA WE HOPE FOR

56years ago the Giant of Africa Nigeria was set free and was allowed to take giant strides that would either make or mar the future of this giant – Nigeria. Men were put in position to manage and administer the New Entity that was built; they say they gave us freedom but don’t forget that they chose the leaders to hand over power to but they said WE WERE FREE.

Many years later, Greed, Hate, Dishonesty, Strife, Envy to mention a few took over the heart of the founding fathers of Nigeria and then there was chaos, disunity, tribalism, nepotism, anarchy, death, war in the Nation Nigeria. Till today we all still feel the pain of this bitter experience in the History of the Nigerian people.

Here we are today still partaking of the heartaches of this dreadful era in Nigeria’s History but do we really continue like this? The Nigerian system is polluted;

  • The Nigerian youth can’t get quality education,
  • The Nigerian Youth who fights and graduate can’t find a befitting job to help build a future,
  • Nigerian fathers and mothers work so hard and don’t get paid,
  • We lack basic infrastructures that we need to survive as citizens of the country Nigeria,
  • There is no place for the Basic Human Right of Citizens,
  • The rich are getting richer and the poor getting poorer.
  • The future of Nigeria is bleak with no assurance of succour

Come to think of it, if we keep talking about the problems, we won’t find a solution for this predicament that we happen to find ourselves in. Generation upon Generation have complained about the predicament of the Nation and have NOT taken positive steps towards making Nigeria a better place, complaining would do nothing but make the situation HURT the more.

Nigerian Youths this is a clarion call to us all that if we indeed want to reap the full benefits of having being Nigerians we all have to come out and STAND for what we believe in. For those who have lost hope in Nigeria, these Countries we or will run to can NEVER and will NEVER be like Home.

Nigeria is just a general name for you and I who are Nigerians that is Nigeria is NOT complete without you and I. Take up the responsibility and leave your footprints in the sand of time as one who made an impact in our Nation – Nigeria. Nigeria will be better if you and I have the same picture in mind and fight for a better place for generations coming behind us.

CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT THING IN LIFE, WE DECIDE WHETHER POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE BY OUR ACTIONS.

I BELIEVE IN NIGERIA.

FeaturedI BELIEVE IN NIGERIA.
Lets come together and ponder on this… Nigeria is a year older today and TRUST ME the Country has been through a lot but still stands as the GIANT of the BLACK NATION. We have seen the BAD, THE WORSE AND THE WORST so have we seen THE GOOD, THE BETTER AND THE BEST.
There is Power in Confession and the Picture you build in your mind. The Bible makes it clear that “As a man thinketh, so is he” permit me then to say that “As a NATION thinketh so will it be”.
Enough to the mediocrity, its time we all stand up and face the reality on Ground and face what we have ahead of us. We know our CHALLENGES instead of Glorifying these challenges; why don’t we all look for a way out.
Your beliefs, your thought, your actions all should be tailored towards adding value to the man next to you and that is the only way we all can come of this present predicament as a NATION.
Stop complaining about what you see now and put efforts into bringing about that Nigeria you have in your mind. It might be tough, it might be challenging, it can be stressful, it can be disheartening but with ONE passion and enough focus, the TOP is your starting point.
Nigerian Youths lets revive our patriotism and also revive our believe in the fact that the system can work, look beyond what you see today because;
THE FUTURE you don’t PICTURE, you cant FEATURE in it.
God bless Nigeria
God bless the President
I REFUSE TO GIVE UP ON MY MOTHERLAND
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

THE CLARION CALL

What are you fighting for?   Whom do you serve?

Who are your friends?  Where are you going to?

Do you have the right people around to take you up the ladder?

What motivates and inspire you?

These are some of many questions we are to ask ourselves daily in our journey towards greatness. Your environment might not be it but where you are going to should be your focus point.

You want to be great and you are NOT taking steps towards greatness, how then do you want to get there? Stop meddling around complaining because that will not solve anything rather it would make things worse.

What picture of the future do you have? What drives you towards greatness? If you environment is NOT conducive; fight to get out of there and make a difference wherever you find yourself. Stop wasting your time.. Do invest it.

Friends would go, family will support, your partner will sustain you but your drive to be the best will never allow you let go. Passion and focus must not be found wanting in all you do.

Fellow Nigerian youth, lets stop complaining about the country but consider ways to contribute our little quota to make the country a better place. It is Your responsibility to build your Nation with everything you can lay hands on.

STOP WANTING TO BE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE AND LEARN TO BE .. SIMPLY YOU!!

I am Ojediran Ayodele Emmanuel, a patriotic Nigerian and ready to join forces with those ready to move Nigeria forward…. There must be a paradigm shift… That is what this BLOG is here for.

God Bless Nigeria
God Bless the Nigerian Youth

Your Believe… Their Opinion…

Your Believe… Their Opinion…

People these days tend to have forgotten that the entity called OPINION is just a person’s ideology based on his or her thought pattern.

We as youths are under terrible influence of PEER PRESSURE but tend to forget that this happen to just be an Opinion you either take or tackle.

Each and everyday some Nigerian youth out there is influenced by what every other person think and let go of their belief but seem to forget that Change is never accepted at once. It takes a period of time

They have their right to talk that is why the mouth is there but you have a mind of your own that knows what it wants. Don’t let them weigh you down because every great man has to rise from somewhere to become someone.

What do you believe in?

What are the goals you have set for yourself?

Who influences you?

Do you consider criticisms constructively or you just over react?

Get out of your shell and face the real world.

The world would talk but learn to be quiet and be better than yesterday so in the END, you relevance is never debated. Know this, envy brings about more HATE than HATE itself. You own your LIFE get ready and move towards seeing the GIANT in you rise.

CHANGES AND CHALLENGES

the-goodthe-badthe-unexpectedmy-yearinretrospect

We all want to become the BEST in life and that is what we all keep fighting for, to be the BEST, be RENOWNED, be ANNOUNCED but have come to the reality of what we have to face to this POINT in our lives.

So many are out there wandering and walking around life looking for a place in the large space called EARTH, how many really do have what it takes to acquire this most coveted spot in life.

Challenges are like hurdles that every man or woman have got to face in other to attain this position of being the BEST but the real truth is in how BEST you handle these challenges that is how BEST you will come out of that phase.

Change is always a constant reward for overcoming or battling with challenges and how well you handle this change matters a whole lot to what or who you will end up becoming in the long run.

We all desire CHANGE BUT ARE YOU READY TO FACE THE CHALLENGE?

GREATNESS LIES AHEAD

possible-375x250

We are heading into a brand new year with so much positivity, vibe and jive. I will like to appreciate all those that have taken out time to check out this blog one time or the other i say a BIG THANK YOU to you all and also God the author and finisher of it all. The idea of the blog was to reposition Nigerian youths to handle the challenges that the future of Nigeria holds having in mind that we the youths are the LEADERS of tomorrow. It has not been a joy ride but i am still THANKFUL for it all and for all kill joy’s who tired to bring us down THANKS for the challenges, you have just helped in bringing out the best in us and we still have a whole lot to offer.

We all started 2015 with so much hopes that the year would bring our way the best that Life has got to offer so as to help us elevate on this journey to success. Here we are today, the year is about to come to an end and thus i put this question to you all out there to check mate our development in 2015:

Have you been able to meet up with the goals you set for yourself in 2015?
Have you been able to fire up your passion and fight harder for it?
Did you actually keep up with your New Year Resolutions?
Comparing the beginning of the year now. have you made the best of this year?
Did you invest, waste or spend your time?
What milestone have you been able to reach in this year?

There are a whole lot more question i would love us to reflect on but the point i am driving at is this, DID YOU JUST WASTE/INVEST 2015?

As you are about to put up a list of resolutions for the New Year i would love you to realize that there is a whole lot more to life than writing down some set laws. You have to get up and fight for what you want. No matter the plight you are at the moment, as the year is rolling out try and re focus and set your priorities right as you head into the New Year. Let your mind work around what you can do to make yourself live a more fulfilled and successful life in 2016. If you are going about things the same way and expecting a different result then something is wrong somewhere. As a said earlier, Set your priorities right, Set achievable goals for yourself, Change your philosophy and be more positive about LIFE; we are about to get into a New Year and it would be questionable if you keep doing things the old way. Lets all be reminded that there is a drop of greatness in everyman.

MIND OF A NIGERIAN YOUTH 2

I-love-Nigeria

It’s no longer news that we need a change in this wonderful nation – NIGERIA. We need a miraculous intervention in all ramifications of life, many leaders have come up to bring about this change that we so need but all have failed.

We as Nigerian youths are the future of Nigeria and we must prepare ourselves ahead for what is to come in Nigeria. Change will always come but at a price that we must be prepared and ready to pay. The Nigerian Dream is real and I am a strong believer and preacher also, today might be bleak but I see light at the end of this dark tunnel. When we would all look back and be proud to be Nigerians but remember – Rome was not built in a day.

We must all prepare ourselves to take charge as leaders and if we are not prepared for it we might just find ourselves in the same condition our fore fathers have put us all today. We all cry for change, we all hope that things get better but are we ready to bank in on the benefits that this change will bring to us.

Nigeria is about to hit a break that will bring about a change in everything that has to do with this country but if we are not inclined with the change coming we might miss it or end up not partaking of its benefits. Nigerian youths need to wake up to their responsibilities having in mind that the future is ours to take.

Complaining will waste most of our time and bring about no result but when we all keep doing what is right and stay on that path one day it will all pay off. Change we must remember does not come overnight it is a gradual process that is time consuming and dependent on focus, passion and consistency. Get busy, do what is right and play your role in the development of Nigeria – That is what we owe the system.

A PEP TALK

apeptalk

What is PEP?

It is an acronym for Patience, Endurance, Preparation. We all as Nigerian youth’s know that in this country Nigeria, the weary can never survive. We all have to put something in place in order to reap something in return either Time/Money to mention a few, to gain you have to bear the pain.

Life is never fair neither is it a bed of roses but its up to us to focus on the beauty of the rose garden and forget about the thorns therein. In life, you never get what you so desire or deserve but it is up to you to fight for what you want and be a go – getter.

In addition, we Nigerian youths must know that we are a product of all the effort we put in the present because the FUTURE is built on the foundation of the PRESENT.

P.E.P, are important virtues that all Nigerian youths should imbibe. No matter how bad things seem to be at the moment never GIVE – UP, keep fighting to make that dream come true. People would laugh at you, mock and all but always have this at the back of your mind; Your Dream to others would always seem like a nightmare until you work it into reality.

In the place of being Patient and Enduring the pains of today, the Nigerian youth must also know that he or she must be prepared for what tomorrow brings so you don’t get caught off guard. To me Luck doesn’t exist but PREPARATION meets OPPORTUNITY.

NO PAIN, NO GAIN….. NO BATTLE, NO CONQUEROR

NEVER GIVE UP ON THE CHASE BECAUSE THE RACE IS NOT FOR THE SWIFT BUT FOR THE PATIENT, THE ONE WHO CAN ENDURE AND HIM WHO IS PREPARED TO FACE WHAT TOMORROW BRINGS.

GOD BLESS YOU, THANKS FOR READING

HARD WORK (A NIGERIAN YOUTH’S PERSPECTIVE)

hardwork

In my sojourn in life I have come across so many people from different works of life that I have always wanted and still wanting to be like but I kept hearing one thing and that is you have to WORK HARD to attain success.

However, I went on in life with the mind-set that whatever work it takes for me to be successful I would do with all that I have got in me. If you must know coming into reality it was not easy to comprehend in between this I got to find out that HARD WORK is not all about the strength but also PASSION, DRIVE, ENDURANCE, COMMITMENT, FOCUS, PERSEVERANCE, STEAD FASTNESS, DILIGENCE all this describes HARD WORK.

In addition to this, it must be known that being successful is not all about having a great career but having a balanced life and in all ramification of life; stand out successful i.e CHARACTER, ATTITUDE, MORALS, ETHIQUETTES to mention a few. It should be known by all Nigerian youths that a balanced life is a balanced future.

Hard work is not about wearying yourself out on jobs to be done but dedicating your time, focusing on what you have to do, driving what you have to do to the point of results. If hard work was really what made people successful trust me there would be lots of successful Nigerian youths banking on the profits of their success and developing the country Nigeria

It must be known that you can be busy working hard doing nothing but when you work SMART you sure would get the desired result with less energy put into it. We all know that there is greatness ahead of us but we all have to work our way up there. Now get this right; ATTITUDE is everything. If you don’t have the ATTITUDE to make money you can’t make money.

Work yourself towards becoming the best at whatever you do because the best way up is to stay FOCUSED, COMMITTED AND DETERMINED to whatever you have chosen to do.

I hope I have SHARED sense with you get back to me with your thoughts.

THANK YOU FOR READING. We want to hear from you.
